Burgundy Wine Route

Chablis & Irancy

๐Ÿ›๏ธ A bit of history:

The Burgundy Wine Route, created in 1938, stretches 60 km between Dijon and Santenay, passing through more than 30 wine-growing villages and the famous Côtes de Nuits and Côtes de Beaune regions.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this vineyard is based on a unique system of climates, with plots delimited since the Middle Ages, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the main varieties grown.

To the north, Chablis and Irancy reveal a more secret side of Burgundy. Chablis, with its limestone soils, offers mineral and fresh white wines. Irancy, a medieval village with a rich history, is renowned for its powerful and elegant red wines, made mainly from Pinot Noir.
