Normandy beaches

Memories of D-Day

πŸ›οΈ A bit of history:

A major symbol of World War II, the beaches of Normandy are now an essential place of memory.

Their history dates back to June 6, 1944, the date of the Allied landings that marked the beginning of the liberation of occupied Europe. Omaha Beach, Colleville-sur-Mer, Arromanches, and Longues-sur-Mer witnessed decisive battles and are now home to museums, cemeteries, and military relics.

Every year, thousands of visitors come to explore these historic sites, combining tourism with paying tribute to fallen soldiers.

Between peaceful beaches and historical heritage, this excursion offers a unique experience.
